Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Dustin Barnes ("we", "us"), who runs Dometry, when you use dometry.io or the Dometry app. By creating an account or using Dometry, you agree to them. If you use Dometry for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
Your account
Give us accurate details, keep your password and agent keys safe, and tell us at[email protected] if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for what happens under your account and your organization's.
Your content
What you put in Dometry stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy, show and process it only as needed to run Dometry for you and the people you share it with. You're responsible for having the right to put it there.
Agents
You can connect AI agents with keys you create. An agent acts for you: you're responsible for what it does with your keys, and for your agreements with its provider. Give each agent only the access it needs, and revoke keys you no longer use.
Acceptable use
Don't use Dometry to:
- break the law or anyone's rights, or harass anyone;
- store protected health information (Dometry isn't covered by HIPAA);
- upload malware, or try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren't yours;
- overload the service, or get around its limits or security;
- copy the service, or resell it without our written agreement.
We may suspend accounts that do, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Plans and payment
Dometry has a free plan with limits, and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't refund partial periods except where the law requires. If a payment fails or you move to a smaller plan, nothing you've made is deleted, but you can't add more than your plan allows until you're within it. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan.
Early access
Dometry is new. While it's in early access, features can change, and we don't promise a set level of availability. We'll do our best to keep it running and your content safe, and to warn you about changes that affect you.
Ending
You can stop using Dometry and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can end these terms or your access if you break them, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. Either way, you can ask us for a copy of your content first.
Disclaimers
Dometry is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't give warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it and 100 US dollars.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
